Create an account with your email and password from the sign-up page. Once you're signed in, Goji checks whether you have staff organization access or patient portal access. Staff users land in their organization workspace, patient-only users land in their portal, and ambiguous accounts can choose where to continue. Brand-new users can create an organization from the chooser or onboarding flow.

Create your organization

An organization is your practice's workspace — every patient, session, protocol, and form you create lives inside one. Give it a name (for example, “Riverside Acupuncture”); Goji generates a unique URL slug for it automatically. Also picks a default time zone, pre-filled from your browser — double-check it before continuing, and change it later under Settings if it's wrong.

Note

You can belong to more than one organization — a solo practitioner working across two clinics, for example. Use the organization switcher in the sidebar to move between them. See Organizations & members.

Behind the scenes, Goji also sets up a starting location and a default service for you, and assigns you as a provider there — every session needs an appointment (service, provider, location, and time) behind it, so this means you can start charting immediately instead of configuring scheduling first. The dashboard flags this with a banner linking to Scheduling setup, where you can rename or replace the defaults whenever you're ready.

The dashboard

After onboarding, you land on your organization's dashboard at /o/your-org/. It shows a quick count of your patients and logged sessions, a Today's schedule card listing today's appointments (who, when, and with which provider — with the next upcoming one flagged), and the sidebar gives you one-click access to everything else:

  • Patients — your patient list and records
  • Calendar — book, cancel, and manage appointments
  • Protocols — reusable session starting points
  • Forms — the forms you send new patients
  • Form submissions — completed forms waiting for review
  • Settings — organization-wide preferences

Note

Today's schedule is read-only — a quick glance at what's coming up. Booking, cancelling, and the overlap-override tools all live on the full Calendar, one click away via its "View calendar" link.

The sidebar can be collapsed to an icon-only rail on desktop using the panel toggle at the top — your preference is remembered on that device. At the bottom, a sync status indicator is always visible; see Offline & sync.
