Charting twelve points shouldn't need twelve trips to the mouse. On the Points tab of a session, the picker is built so that if you know the codes, your hands stay on the keyboard.
Type a code or a name, press Enter
Click into the filter and type part of a point's code or name, such as ST36 or Hegu. Matching is not case-sensitive and works on any part of either, so a few letters is enough. Arrow Down and Arrow Up move a highlight through the matches, and Enter adds the highlighted one, the top match if you haven't moved. The point lands as a chip beside the filter, the filter clears, and you can type the next code. Points already on the chart are left out of the matches, and Enter on a filter that matches nothing does nothing, rather than saving your session.
The list is every point in the WHO standard nomenclature, grouped by meridian, plus three extra points: Yintang, Taiyang and Ashi, for a local tender point. It is nomenclature only. The picker does not tell you where a point is or what it does.
Left, right or bilateral, remembered
After Enter, focus moves to that point's side choice, L, R or B. Arrow keys change it, and Enter or Escape sends you back to the filter. The side you choose becomes the starting side for the next point, so a one-sided visit means picking Left once. That choice is remembered in your browser between sessions, and a mouse click on a side doesn't move your focus.
Points on the midline, such as the Governing and Conception Vessel points, have no side to pick. They are added without one, and focus stays in the filter. To change a side later, click the side badge on its chip to cycle it, or use the radio buttons under the point in the list.
Fixing a point, and seeing it everywhere
Backspace in an empty filter removes the last point added, and the x on a chip removes any one. Clear all asks you to confirm first. The meridian list below is still there if you would rather browse: a meridian opens by itself once it has a selection or a match, and each point has a checkbox, which Enter also toggles.
The same picker builds the point list in a protocol. On a session, the points show up in the This session so far panel as chips like LI4 (B), and clicking that block jumps back to the Points tab (see Charting for acupuncture visits). Adding or removing points also appears in History, and an unwanted change can be rolled back with undo. You can try the picker without an account in the charting sandbox.
