A TCM exam is a round peg. Most practice-management software hands you a square hole: a generic notes box, generic customization, and a form you’re expected to build yourself before you can chart your first patient. Goji is shaped like the visit — points with laterality, pulse by position, tongue, pattern differentiation, and technique are the fields, not something you configure your way into. Nothing stops you mid-visit to go set something up first.

The pattern you’re about to chart isn’t in the list? Type it and move ahead. It goes onto this session and into your practice’s own list at the same time — you don’t stop the visit, go to Settings, and come back for it. Every list is yours to curate: rename a term to match your lineage’s wording, hide the ones you never chart, or reset back to the defaults.
Protocols

Start from where you already were instead of an empty form. Copy a whole visit forward from a patient’s last session in one click — dated, so you know exactly what you’re pulling. Or save any session you’ll repeat as a protocol, then apply it later by typing a few letters of its name. Protocols add to a chart instead of replacing it, so a points protocol and a pattern protocol can both go into the same visit.
Autosave & session history
Autosave, undo, and full session history.
Every point, pulse entry, and protocol apply saves the moment you make it — you can watch it happen instead of hitting Save and hoping — and free-text notes save a few seconds after you stop typing. A wrong click doesn’t cost you the note: every one of those saves is recorded, not just the final state, and one click puts back the version you wanted.

Signing & amendments
Signing that records the record — without locking you out.
A session moves through not started, in progress, and complete — visible at a glance from the calendar and dashboard. Signing a completed chart doesn’t seal it away from you: remember something afterward and you can still write it down, logged as an amendment so the change is always distinguishable from the original note. Changing a signed chart’s status or restoring an older version does ask you to unsign first — both are a bigger deal than a content tweak, and each is its own explicit, logged action rather than a silent unlock.
Billing
A superbill your patient can hand to their own insurer.
Generate a receipt-style PDF straight from a charted visit — suggested CPT codes from the visit’s duration and technique, the diagnosis codes you pick, and your practice and provider billing details already on file. It’s built for out-of-network reimbursement your patient submits themselves, not insurance billing or claims processing run by us — Goji never talks to a payer. On by default, and switchable off entirely for a practice that doesn’t offer superbills.
Frequently asked questions
Can I chart patterns, pulse qualities, or techniques that aren't in the default list?
Yes. Type a term that isn't in the list while charting and it's used on the spot and saved to your practice's own vocabulary at the same time — no trip to Settings first. Every list (Pattern, Pulse quality, Technique) is yours to rename, trim, or reset back to the defaults.
What happens if I undo or restore the wrong thing while charting?
Every save is kept, not just the latest one, so a wrong click is never the end of a note. Restoring an earlier version writes it forward as a brand-new save rather than deleting what came after it — the full history stays intact either way.
Can I copy a previous visit into today's session instead of starting blank?

Do I need to know the WHO point codes to chart quickly?

No. Goji generates a superbill — a receipt-style PDF with suggested CPT codes, your diagnosis codes, and your practice's billing details — that your patient submits to their own insurer for out-of-network reimbursement. Goji never talks to a payer, does adjudication, or files a claim on your behalf.
