Licensing in
Louisiana
Start with the Louisiana State Board of Medical Examiners. The statute certifies a licensed acupuncturist who holds active NCCAOM status and has passed the NCCAOM exam including Biomedicine. Louisiana also certifies physician acupuncturists and acupuncture detoxification specialists. Fees, renewal and continuing education come from rules that were read only through a mirror.
