Licensing in
South Dakota
No South Dakota acupuncturist license was found in the codified laws. Bills to create an Acupuncture Licensing Board (for example 2020 HB 1136) were introduced, and the chapter they proposed, SDCL 36-39, is not in the code. Do not read this page as saying acupuncture is unregulated or allowed: the medical practice laws were not checked, so confirm with the Board of Medical and Osteopathic Examiners before practicing.
