Before you point patients at a booking link, you probably want to know what they will go through and what you will get. The sample on Online booking shows both sides at once, without an account and without touching a calendar.
What patients see, and what your staff see
On the left, under What your patient sees, is the same booking flow a practice's public page uses: choose a service, pick a day on the month calendar or press Next available, choose a time, review it, press Reserve this time, then enter a Name and an Email or Phone. The last screen says You're booked and shows the location. Three sample services are offered: Initial Acupuncture Treatment (90 minutes), Follow-up Acupuncture Treatment and Cosmetic Facial Acupuncture (60 each).
On the right, under What your staff see, a panel headed New online bookings gains a card with a Just now tag the moment you confirm. It is a stand-in for the panel on the Calendar page described in New online bookings queue, and it starts with two sample cards so it is never empty. Press the button on a card, such as Link to Maya Rosen or Create patient, to see how it resolves. The real queue also offers Leave as guest; the sample does not.
What is simulated
The times are invented. Monday to Friday only, six start times a day (9:00, 10:30, 11:45, 1:00, 2:15 and 4:00), roughly half of them shown as taken, the coming Tuesday fully booked and the Wednesday after it down to one. Times start at least four hours from now and run 60 days ahead, in Denver time, and the review step spells out your local time if your clock differs. Your own practice's times come from its real hours, providers and rooms instead.
Reserving does hold the time, as described in Reservation holds, but only inside your open page: a ten-minute countdown shows on the details step, and letting it run out gives That hold expired. A time you book stops being offered until you press Start over, which also resets the staff panel.
From the sample to your link
Your own booking link, its hold time and the page itself are covered in Online booking page, and Embed booking on your site shows how to put it on your own website.
