It is a quarter to nine and you want to know what the morning looks like before the first patient walks in. You open Goji, and the answer is already the first thing on the page.
What the card lists
Your practice's home page is the dashboard, and below the patient and session counts is the Today's schedule card. Appointments run in start-time order. Each row shows the time, the patient's name (a link to their record), and the service and provider. The facility is added only when your practice has more than one. Under the title, a line counts the day and says when the next visit starts, for example 3 appointments · next at 10:00 AM.
Cancelled and expired bookings are left out, so what you see is the day you are actually working. A time a booking visitor is still holding appears with a Pending confirmation badge until they finish (see Reservation holds).
Badges and colors
- Now marks a visit whose start has passed and end has not. Next marks the first one still to come.
- Online booking marks a public-link booking that has not been matched to a patient yet. The row offers Link to patient and Create patient; see the online booking queue.
- Overlap override marks a visit that was booked on top of another one on purpose; see overlap override.
- A guest you entered by hand shows their name followed by (guest).
Each row also has a colored left edge: accent for a chart not started, amber for one in progress, grey for a completed chart. It is the same coloring the Calendar uses, so a color means the same thing in both places.
What counts as today
Today is the date in your own time zone, which you can set under Settings → Display (see Time zones). The card is drawn when the page loads, so Now and Next are as fresh as your last visit to the dashboard; reload to update them. With nothing booked, the subtitle reads Nothing booked today and the card links to the Calendar to book one.
Go further
The card is a summary, not a second calendar. View calendar opens the full grid for booking and cancelling. The card itself can reach other days (Browse other days) and start a chart or reschedule from a row (Start or reschedule from the dashboard). Visits from earlier days that still need a note collect in the Charting queue.
